Went from 250mbps to 150. I noticed the channel wifi channel is on a channel that wasnt used on the xb6. The channel right now is 42 and on the xb6 it was a much higher channel which made for much faster speeds. I was even told by one Comcast rep that using separate SSIDs is the reason I couldn't change channels now (I've been able to set them manually for months ever since getting my Xfinity modem/router) - BTW setting the SSIDs the same doesn't allow manual channel selection regardless of what they tried to tell me. The XB7 xFi Advanced Gateway supports all of the same Xfinity Internet speed tiers as the XB8. Both devices have a Maximum Data Throughput up to 2.5 Gbps as well as 4 Gigabit Ethernet Ports.
